The Opportunity:
We are seeking motivated and skilled Civil Litigation Defense Attorneys to join
our clients growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for California and Nevada
licensed attorneys with a passion for defense work to handle a diverse and
engaging caseload. You will be a key contributor from day one, managing cases
through all phases of litigation and working directly with experienced partners
who are invested in your success.
What You'll Do
(Key Responsibilities):
- Represent clients in all court
appearances, including hearings and motion practice.
- Draft a wide range of legal pleadings,
motions, and other litigation documents.
- Manage all aspects of written
discovery, including propounding and responding to interrogatories,
requests for production, and subpoenas.
- Take and defend depositions of parties
and witnesses.
- Actively participate in mediations and
settlement negotiations to achieve favorable client outcomes.
- Provide critical support during
pre-trial preparation and assist in all phases of trial proceedings.
- Serve as a key point of contact for
clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Requirements
What You'll
Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
- Active member in good standing of the
California State Bar. (Nevada
license is a plus for candidates interested in those opportunities).
- 2 years of dedicated civil litigation
experience, with a focus on defense work.
- Juris Doctor Degree required
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical,
and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload
independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong academic credentials and a
commitment to the highest ethical standards.
